OUR STORY · FOR HUMANS. BY HUMANS.

One question. A shared purpose.
Making connections visible.

The ideas and contributions behind a structured way to see how decisions connect across people, responsibilities and time.

THE IDEA BEHIND SDR

See the connections. Understand the sequence.

How can people see the relationships between decisions that involve different professionals, responsibilities and timelines?

Answers are abundant. A shared view of their connections can be harder to find.

Michael A. Giongo developed SDR’s methodology to organize those relationships into a visible structure. Contributions from Marie and Matthew helped shape its conceptual foundations.

My Decision Field™ connects a client’s decisions, dependencies and open questions in one view.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND SDR

Built through shared purpose.

Michael A. Giongo

Managing Member & Methodology Creator

Michael turns complex ideas into working systems. His background spans mathematics, physics, software development and enterprise data architecture—disciplines he brings together in the creation and continued development of SDR.

His professional experience at SAP includes corporate strategy, enterprise data engineering and analytics. Michael combines that technical experience with an ability to translate abstract concepts into practical structures.

Michael developed SDR’s methodology to make the relationships between consequential decisions visible across time. His work connects conceptual architecture with practical application: organizing decisions, dependencies and open questions into a structure people can understand and use.

As Managing Member, Michael leads SDR’s operations and methodology development, translating its underlying principles into a consistent mapping process and clear client deliverables.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics, Ursinus College, magna cum laude. Phi Beta Kappa; recipient of the Professor Evan S. Snyder Prize for excellence in physics.

Marie Giongo

Conceptual Design, Safeguards & Human Experience

Marie helped give SDR its practical form. Drawing on decades of clinical experience, she brought the discipline of structured observation, documentation and review to an abstract idea: making the relationships between consequential decisions visible.

Her foundational contributions helped shape the methodology’s gates and safeguards—clear boundaries that distinguish organizing a decision from the professional judgment needed to answer it. She also helped translate the complex relationships between decisions into visual forms people can understand and use.

Her background includes decades of work in outpatient orthopedics, where careful observation and clear documentation are essential to understanding individual needs. Her contribution to SDR reflects that same discipline: clear structure, thoughtful safeguards and attention to the person behind the information.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Temple University, magna cum laude.

Matthew Giongo

Founding Conceptual Contributor

Matthew made a significant conceptual contribution during SDR’s formative development. An early insight helped anchor the emerging framework and inform how its central idea could take shape.

Matthew brought a mathematical and computational perspective to those foundational discussions. His contribution forms an enduring part of SDR’s intellectual history. He is not involved in the company’s day-to-day operations.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics, West Chester University, summa cum laude.

A DEFINED ROLE

A shared structure for connected decisions.

Clients retain all decision authority. SDR maps only the order and sequence of their decisions.

SDR’s methodology has not been empirically validated to predict outcomes, quantify risk or demonstrate improved results.

A SHARED BELIEF

For Humans. By Humans.

SDR is the result of complementary human contributions: professional experience, systems development, mathematical inquiry, and structured discipline.

Together, these contributions have helped create a methodology built around a fundamental conviction:

Technology should expand human understanding, not replace human judgment.

Because behind every decision is a person. And beyond every decision are other lives, other choices, and possibilities yet to unfold.
